Effective November 2025, Dr. Krzysztof Hornig will take over as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LOI Thermprocess GmbH, succeeding Christian Schrade, who has served in this capacity for five years. Matthias Gogollok will remain in his role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Dr. Hornig brings over twenty years of expertise in thermal processes and industrial furnace technology to this new role. He has held various leadership positions within internationally recognized corporations in the metal industry, enhancing his profile as an adept manager in this sector.
His academic credentials include degrees from the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland, and the Clausthal University of Technology in Germany. Dr. Hornig’s impressive journey culminated in a doctorate in thermal process engineering from RWTH Aachen University, awarded with distinction in 2008. He has significant experience in engineering and global sales roles throughout his career.
Prior to his appointment at Tenova, Dr. Hornig served as the Vice President and Head of the Industrial Furnaces Division at Andritz Metals Germany, where he was responsible for the global product portfolio.
